DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – 1.5 Years / First-Time Travelers
Location: Spokane, WA 99208

Shift: Night Shift – 3x12-hour shifts

Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Rapidly triage and manage patients with varying acuity levels
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (state license or compact, as applicable)
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience
  • Ability to work nights and every other weekend
  • Strong critical-thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
