Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
\n• On-call requirements: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included
\n• Weekend call required every 3rd or 4th weekend
\n• Call shifts: 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours in one work week for 8 and 10 hour shifts
\n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
\n• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
\n• Required certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS
\n• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required
\n• 18 months experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Local Indiana residents accepted for this position
\n• Block scheduling may be accommodated upon discussion
\n• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric
\n• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly
\n• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed
\n• Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams required
\n• Must be able to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition doesn't permit routine positioning
\n• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

This short-term acute care hospital operates with multiple campuses featuring varying bed capacities ranging from 153 to 210 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Cerner electronic health record system and provides free parking for staff. The hospital offers comprehensive interventional radiology services with advanced equipment and maintains a focus on providing quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients across all age groups.
