Travel Consultant (Onsite) – Sales & Client Services
Location: Billings, MT
Job Type: Full-Time||Part Time || Onsite
Compensation: Base Pay (per Billings, MT wage standards) + 10% Commission on Net Profit.

World Class Travel, a full-service travel agency based in Billings, Montana, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our on-site team. This role is focused on client interaction, travel sales, booking management, and customer service .
This is an in-office position and is ideal for candidates who enjoy working directly with clients, closing sales, and managing travel arrangements from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Client Sales & Consultation
- Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and in-person client inquiries
- Consult with clients to understand travel needs, preferences, and budgets
- Recommend and sell travel products, including airfare, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, insurance, and transfers
- Close sales and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Upsell value-added services such as seat selection, baggage, insurance, upgrades, and excursions
Travel Planning & Booking
- Research travel options and prepare detailed quotes and itineraries
- Book domestic and international flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and tours
- Ensure accuracy of passenger details, travel dates, fare rules, and ticketing deadlines
- Issue tickets, confirmations, invoices, and travel documents
- Monitor schedule changes, fare rules, and airline updates
Customer Support & After-Sales Service
- Assist clients with changes, cancellations, reissues, and refunds
- Explain airline policies, baggage rules, travel insurance coverage, and basic visa guidance
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Provide pre-departure support and follow-ups to ensure smooth travel experiences
Administrative & Office Duties
- Maintain organized client files and booking records
- Accurately record payments, confirmations, and notes in internal systems
- Coordinate with airlines, suppliers, tour operators, and vendors
- Follow agency procedures, compliance requirements, and service standards
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to close bookings
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines
- Comfortable using computers, email, and booking platforms
- Professional phone and in-person communication skills
Preferred but Not Required
- Previous travel agency or travel industry experience
- Sales, hospitality, or customer service background
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: In line with Billings, Montana labour regulations
- Commission: 10% of net profit on bookings sold
- Performance-based earning potential with no commission cap
