This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Rotating day shifts, including weekends (1-2 weekends per month) and overnight call 2-3 nights per month from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

\n\nJob Description\n

Join a busy inpatient echocardiography lab at a tertiary care hospital with a level I trauma center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Perform an average of 7 echocardiograms per day.
\n
• Utilize proficiency in transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
\n
• Maintain strict adherence to lab standards and protocols for diagnostic accuracy.
\n
• Optimize image quality through effective scanning techniques and appropriate use of ultrasound contrast agents.
\n
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout procedures.
\n
• Participate in case reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum 5 years of echocardiography experience.
\n
• At least 2 years of acute inpatient echo experience in a trauma level I facility.
\n
• Certification as RDCS or RCS is required.
\n
• Expertise in performing 3D echo and strain imaging is a must.
\n
