We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Baraboo, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee server operations, provide technical support, and ensure seamless system functionality across various platforms. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the Agriculture industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of 22 on-premises servers.
• Perform hardware setups, software installations, and implement patch management using Action 1.
• Monitor server activity to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Configure and integrate new systems with a focus on server optimization.
• Administer Sophos endpoint protection to safeguard systems against potential threats.
• Oversee Active Directory, managing user accounts and permissions.
• Support Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 environments, ensuring system reliability.
• Collaborate on database, email, and network server management to maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilize Citrix and Dell technologies to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Document processes and provide training to ensure smooth transitions and system usage.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
• Proficiency in VMware technologies and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 10, and O365.
• Experience with hardware setups, software installations, and patch management.
• Familiarity with Sophos endpoint protection and Active Directory.
• Ability to work with database, email, and network servers.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix and Dell technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
