Job Title: Shipping Receiving Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Materials Indirect

Reports to (Title): Logistics Supervisor

Brief Summary of Position :

Responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the shipping and receiving process.

Essential Functions of the Position :

• Supervise and coordinate all daily activities in the shipping department
• Oversee all incoming outgoing shipments to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Manage and train a team of shipping clerks and warehouse personnel
• Ensure accurate shipping documentation, including bills of shipping labels
• Coordinate shipment schedules and deliveries with carriers
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping or receiving related issues
• Ensure a safe, clean and organized work environment
• Monitor shipping costs to meet budget requirements

Requirements (education, prior work experience, special skills, etc.)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations with some supervisory or leadership experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficiency with relevant software systems
