iDEAL Hire is seeking a School Services Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Augusta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

Position Details: SPED

• Pay: Starting at $39
• Hours:  May vary based on location

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid GA teaching certification in Special Education required.
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, autism, developmental delays, etc.)

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of special education laws, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks, IEPs, and progress monitoring.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with special needs succeed.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to assist students with mobility or physical needs as required by their IEPs.

Work Environment:\n\n- Classroom and school environment, which may include both individual and group instruction.\n- May involve working with students in various settings (classroom, therapy rooms, or outdoor spaces).\n- Frequent interaction with parents, staff, and administrators.
