Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in South Portland, ME is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position to support K-12 students through evaluations and individualized education planning. This role focuses on conducting timely psychoeducational assessments and delivering comprehensive reports to guide student support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete 3-5 student evaluations promptly, with all work finalized by June 30, 2025
• Develop detailed IEP reports based on assessment findings
• Participate in the initial IEP meetings to present and discuss evaluation results with parents, educators, and support teams
• Collaborate professionally with school staff to ensure accurate and actionable recommendations are provided

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Background in conducting K-12 psychoeducational evaluations
• Proficient in report writing tailored to educational needs and IEP documentation standards
• Strong communication skills for effectively sharing findings during meetings
• Ability to manage and complete evaluations within short timeframes
