Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Homer, Alaska, is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a flexible full-time or near full-time schedule, serving a caseload of approximately 656 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across pre-K to 12th grade.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and support services to students exhibiting academic, social, or emotional challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to support educational success.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/license.
• Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools, diagnostic practices, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload while maintaining quality of service.

Position Details:

• Location: Homer, Alaska
• Employment Type: Contract for the 2025-2026 school year (August 18, 2025, to May 21, 2026)
• Hours: 35 (.88 FTE) to 40 (1.0 FTE) hours per week; schedule negotiable
