Are you a professional driver in RDU? Unhappy in your ride-hailing or delivery driver gig? We’re now seeking responsible people, like you, to join our growing enterprise. EDS Service Solutions partners with car rental companies around the United States. We run the back-end operations to ensure that all customers have an exceptional car rental experience.

Location:  Near RDU Airport

Payrate: $14 hourly / weekly pay

Shifts Available: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:00 pm / PM shift from 3pm-11 pm ( Thursday - Monday)

What You’ll Do:

You will drive our vehicles around our airport lots, depending on the location, from customer check-in, to car wash area, and then to spaces ready for our customers to rent, also can include maintenance and other lots as directed, all while following our processes and driving our cars safely.

Requirements:

• Must have a Valid US driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Clean driving record the past 3 years
• Must be able to work in inclement weather
• Ability to handle physical workload, getting in and out of vehicles safely.
• Must be able to drive up to 8-hour shifts
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend up to 8 hr shift
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments up to 8 hr shift
• Weekend availability

• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and buses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform shuttle driving and delivery services, ensuring timely arrival at destinations.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dump trucks.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and any potential delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with passengers or clients during transport.
• Assist in training new drivers as needed, sharing knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle operation.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or shuttle driving roles.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with freight handling, including loading/unloading cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Previous experience in paratransit or school bus driving is beneficial but not mandatory.
