Overview Location: Fort Meade, MD Schedule: Full-Time | Salaried | Exempt Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Join Valor3 Services as a Physical Security Specialist supporting a mission-critical United States Army Counterintelligence Command (USACIC) operation. In this role, you’ll help ensure the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) security standards. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires a cleared, experienced professional ready to support national security efforts. Responsibilities Conduct on-site inspections and maintain SCIF documentation under SSO oversight Maintain and update SCIF binders in accordance with regulations Support facility construction and modification projects by reviewing access requests, conducting site visits, and managing security compliance documentation Prepare for IG inspections by maintaining detailed records of meetings, inspections, and compliance activities Perform Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) inspections and maintain memoranda Ensure adherence to federal and DoD security policies and protocols Update and revise security SOPs and Emergency Action Plans semi-annually to reflect threat landscape and regulatory changes Conduct annual SCI facility inspections and maintain inspection records Support physical security systems including: Open and Closed Storage Cipher and X-series Locks Access Control and Badge Readers Alarm Panels and Combo Changes Lenel Security Software SCIF Construction Support Conduct interior and exterior facility patrols for security enforcement Perform other security-related duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance High School Diploma or GED At least 2 years of experience in: Managing and maintaining SCI facilities Working with collateral facilities Handling IDS, blueprint reading, and IT/security system coordination ICD‑705 Certification Desired Qualifications/Skills Familiarity with Army and DoD regulations Experience with: Open/Closed storage protocols X-series and cipher locks Combo changes Access control infrastructure Badge readers and alarm panels SCIF construction projects Experience with Lenel security systems (a plus) Valor 3 Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
