Albany Family Medicine is looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. Hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm . **This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 recruitment and retention bonus!!**

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Practice medicine with physician supervision including conducting examinations and writing prescriptions.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
\n
• Assess patient status by obtaining health history.
\n
• Order/perform laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests.
\n
• Treat illnesses, give injections, suture wounds.
\n
• Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.
\n
• Counsel patient/family on preventive health care.
\n
• Participate in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development and other continuing education.

Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000 Annually

\n
