Lead Heavy Equipment / Agricultural Equipment Technician
Location: Calgary, AB
Pay: $45–$55/hr (Depending on Experience) + Overtime Available
Full-Time | Leadership Role | Year-Round Work | Flexible Winters
We’re a large, well-established landscaping company with a fleet that includes everything from mowers and tractors to skid steers, pickup trucks, and heavy equipment —and we’re looking for a Lead Mechanic to take charge in our shop.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll not only turn wrenches but also guide the shop, schedule work, and help keep our busy operation running smoothly. You’ll work in a well-equipped shop , lead a team of techs, and have a real impact on the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading the day-to-day operations of a busy maintenance shop
Scheduling and supervising technicians
Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of equipment (mowers, tractors, skid steers, trucks, etc.)
Ensuring preventive maintenance is done efficiently and on time
What We’re Looking For:
Experienced Heavy Equipment or Ag Technician , preferably with leadership or supervisory experience
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Hands-on experience with commercial mowers is a big plus
Golf course mechanics or similar roles (e.g., turf equipment techs) will fit in perfectly
Organized, self-motivated, and able to keep a busy shop running smoothly
