*About the Role:*
We are seeking a *Network Support Specialist* to join our team and assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This role focuses on supporting network operations, resolving connectivity issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in networking fundamentals, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide day-to-day *network support* focusing on basic troubleshooting and issue resolution (e.g., IP address conflicts).
* Support and maintain *network hardware* components, including *routers* and *switches*.
* Assist in monitoring network performance and ensuring optimal operation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve network-related issues.
* Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
* Deliver excellent *customer service* while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Required Skills and Qualifications:*
* Strong understanding of *basic networking concepts* and *Cisco fundamentals*.
* Proficiency in *troubleshooting* common network issues, such as IP address conflicts.
* Experience with *network hardware* (routing and switching).
* Excellent *customer service* and *communication skills*.
*Nice to Have:*
* *CCNA* or *CCNP* certification.
* Positive *attitude* and *aptitude to learn* new technologies and processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
