GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Terra Labor is seeking for an In-House immigration attorneys in Houston, Texas. Must be interested in working on immigration law cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and establish a case strategy.
• Draft and file petitions/applications.
• Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues.
• Update and manage status reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree
• Doctor of Jurisprudence

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
• 1 year of immigration experience prefered
• Possess a thorough understanding of H1B, H2B, EB3, and TN visas, PERMS, immigrant visa petitions, family based and consular processing prefered
• Must be proficient in legal research, word processing, and document databases.
• Be able to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues.
• Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Strong proficiency with a legal software.
• Proactive support of their clients legal needs.
