Compensation
Salary Range: $135,200 - $147,680 (USD)
Geographical differential pay: 8% above base salary
Partial relocation assistance provided, ranging $1,000$5,000 depending on distance
Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) certification
Current professional nursing license in practicing state
Certification by recognized national nursing credentialing organizations in specialty area (e.g., ANCC, NCS, AANP, AACN Acute Care NP Certification)
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum two years clinical nursing experience (RN or NP) in cardiology, cardiac care, or cardiovascular nursing
Experience with heart failure patient population
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner experience
Cardiovascular and Heart Failure ICU nursing experience
This full-time, night-shift Nurse Practitioner role provides comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the Heart Failure ICU. Responsibilities include systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and in-hospital follow-up, delivering care consistent with state Nurse Practice Act and health system standards.
12-hour shifts (7pm7am), rotating weekends and holidays, no on-call required
Candidates must have 2-3 years of RN or NP critical care experience, with a strong preference for cardiology experience
Patient populations include those on VV/VA ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, heart and lung transplant recipients, LVAD patients, and post-op cardiac surgery patients
Credentialing process typically lasts 2-3 months
