Elevator Mechanic Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced In-House elevator mechanic to service and maintain our elevators. As an In-House elevator mechanic, you will be required to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, repair or replace parts, and conduct safety tests.
The In-House elevator mechanic, you should have advanced mechanical knowledge of elevator systems, good troubleshooting skills, and be able to work after hours if required.
Elevator Mechanic Responsibilities:
· Conducting all PM of ~ 20 elevators.
· Responding to mechanical failures and system malfunctions.
· Trouble shooting issues as is required.
· Servicing and maintaining machine parts.
· Carrying out safety checks.
· Maintaining stock and ordering supplies.
· Maintaining a clean working area.
Elevator Mechanic Requirements:
· Relevant mechanical certification.
· Minimum of 15 years of experience as an elevator mechanic.
· Advance knowledge of older elevator systems.
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
· Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.
· Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
