SRI is seeking committed and passionate professionals to provide critical Program Management services to the Army’s Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), overseeing the delivery of resilience and performance enhancement training to military service members, civilians, and their families. Overview Army Ready and Resilient Performance Centers (R2PCs) provide instruction in resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement to U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, their families, and Department of the Army (DA) civilians at 35 Army installations within the United States and overseas. The Curriculum Developer lays the framework for the curriculum to be executed regularly at unit-based Training Centers, Warrior Transition Units (WTUs), Mobile Training Teams and other unit locations. The Curriculum Developer designs, develops, implements, and evaluates enterprise-wide learning solutions in support of Army’s Resilience Training programs. They partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to develop learning paths and curriculum content that reflects sound instructional design based on adult learning principles and best practices. They display demonstrated expertise in instructional design systems, learning technologies and adult learning best practices, and act as a technical expert and liaison with the client and other Government or organizational SMEs. Tasks & Responsibilities Lead a Curriculum Development Team consisting of Instructional Systems Specialists. Manage multiple facets of curriculum development, school engagement, review of pilot content, and adaptations to the various curriculums supporting Army Resiliency Training. Update the current resilience curriculum-based guidance and direction from the Prevention Force Modernization Proponent (PFMP). Provide expertise in the full life cycle of instructional design processes (i.e., ADDIE or other industry accepted models) to design, develop and implement effective instructional materials, learning resources and content. Maintain progressive knowledge of the trends in instructional design, learning methodologies, and learning technology solutions. Research current trends, tools, and techniques associated with content/curriculum design and development. Create design standards and templates and integrate technology-based tools into the development process. Evaluate and assess the instructional effectiveness and business impact of programs and support the continuous improvement of learning solutions. Possess ownership and accountability for large scale learning and development initiatives. Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities Master’s degree from an accredited institution in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, education (with a focus on curriculum and instruction), or equivalent field. At least ten (10) years’ experience in curriculum development, with at least five (5) years’ experience working with the military as a military member, civilian, or contractor. At least five (5) years’ experience leading a curriculum development team. Applicants must successfully undergo a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation.
