We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Credentialing Specialist to join a team on a contract basis in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for professionals who can efficiently handle credentialing tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment. The role involves working independently to support administrative processes related to healthcare credentialing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage credentialing tasks for healthcare providers, including new applications and re-credentialing processes.

• Ensure compliance with credentialing standards and regulatory requirements.

• Utilize proprietary credentialing platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe software for administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with team members and managers to address credentialing issues or discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all credentialing activities.

• Communicate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation and information.

• Monitor credentialing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

• Support audits and reviews related to credentialing processes.

• Work independently to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in credentialing or a related field.
• Proficiency in credentialing processes, including provider and physician credentialing.
• Familiarity with re-credentialing applications and procedures.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and credentialing platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of healthcare administration is preferred.
