Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana, with the possibility of extension. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your sterile compounding expertise while supporting a dedicated pharmacy team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract | Potential Extension

• Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

• Location: Shreveport, LA

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.

• Maintain cleanroom and compounding areas following proper procedures.

• Accurately label, package, and prepare compounded medications.

• Assist pharmacists with daily workflow and inventory management.

• Comply with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Shift Schedule

• Monday & Friday: 8:30am 5:00pm or 9:00am 5:30pm

• Tuesday Thursday: 7:00am 3:30pm

Requirements

• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.

• Recent experience with sterile compounding (IV admixture required).

• Solid knowledge of USP <797>/<800> guidelines.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
