Location: Remote Job Type: contract-to-hire (3-6 months) Compensation Range: $38-45/hr Benefits: Health/vision/dental, 401k, and more ( On behalf of our client in the insurance industry, we are seeking a Content Writer to join their dynamic creative team. This role offers the opportunity to create compelling content across multiple marketing channels while working with a collaborative, established team. The ideal candidate has a background or degree in journalism with astute investigative skills as well as experience in B2B marketing content development, writing, and strategy. Responsibilities: Conduct interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information for content development. Create content that can be adapted across multiple channels (social media, long-form articles, short-form content, blog posts). Research and track down information with persistence and thoroughness. Develop content that supports both programs and wholesale divisions. Collaborate with the design team and other writers to ensure cohesive messaging. Think creatively to develop engaging content that may cover complex insurance topics. Qualifications: Journalism background strongly preferred. 3-5 years of professional content creation experience (mid-level). Strong interviewing and research skills. Ability to create content for multiple formats and channels. Excellent written communication skills. Professional remote work capabilities and presentation. Preferred Qualifications: Wholesale industry experience (highly desirable). Insurance industry background (bonus, not required). Portfolio and/or work samples demonstrating multi-channel content work. May need to use personal equipment (Mac preferred, subject to IT security protocols).
