About the Role
We are looking for a strong phone based sales opener and closer who also understands computer fixes. Your main job is to answer incoming calls from home users, handle the conversation, explain the problem, win the caller’s trust, and then move the call forward to our support technician team in the Philippines. You will protect the sale, do retention when a caller changes their mind, and call back to verify that the repair was successful. You must be comfortable talking about computers and you must be able to do basic fixes or guide a fix when needed.

This role is for someone who is sales confident, good with senior citizens, and knows how to close for local onsite dispatch or remote services and keep callers on the phone.

What You Will Do

  1. Answer 25 to 35 inbound service calls and keep control of the conversation.
  2. Ask the right discovery questions about the computer, the printer, the internet connection, and what the customer was doing when the problem started.
  3. Explain in simple terms what most likely caused the problem and what the fix will look like.
  4. Present our repair service and set clear expectations for the online session and for the repair window.
  5. Transfer the job to our support technician in the Philippines and brief them clearly.
  6. If the customer changes their mind or says they will call back, you stay on the call and save it with strong retention language.
  7. Call customers back after the work is done to verify the fix, walk them through live tests, and finalize the sale with the goal of subscribing the customer to an extended IT support plan.
  8. When the support technician is not available, you can still do simple fixes yourself such as printer setup, Wi Fi reconnect, basic malware cleanup, or a guided PC Reset.
  9. Log clear notes in our system so that any teammate can continue the job.
  10. Hit your daily and weekly sales targets. Prices range anywhere from $150 - $1,500 per customer depending on their home or business needs.

Compensation & Terms

  • $22 per hour (we can only hire you through a 1099 and freelancer timeclock). Payments are made to you via Found.com bank. You will need to signup there and we will invite you to be a contractor with our Found.com banking for contractor payment management.

  • No company benefits.

  • Paid training (2–3 days) before taking live calls. We don't do technical skills training. We spend the first 2 - 3 days discussing our call flow, call scripts that you must follow, and how to use our phone system and documentation tools. Nothing else. You need to fully know your tech stuff in order to work with us.

  • Long-term, full-time hourly contract based position (not project-based).

  • We need someone agile, flexible, able to work with changes, can adapt to any environment, comfortable working with our overseas Philippine team and still be a team player all the way through.

What Success Looks Like

  • Callers feel that you know what you are doing and trust you quickly
  • A high rate of callers are moved into an online remote session with our team
  • Close for an onsite dispatch on hardware problems or when the customer absolutely needs it
  • When your Philippine co-worker completes a repair you verify it with the customer and do the billing
  • Sales targets are met or exceeded with a high percentage of callers upgrading to a support plan

What You Need to Bring

  • Excellent over-the-phone sales skills
  • Real experience talking to home users and seniors
  • Strong understanding of computers
  • Able to describe boot problems, printer problems, and slow computer problems
  • Comfortable explaining what our Philippine technician will do inside the session
  • Confident on price conversations and good at keeping the caller on the path we set
  • Dependable, on time, no work related excuses, follows scripts and company language, takes notes

Remote work from a quiet place where you can handle calls uninterrupted from home
Reliable computer and high speed internet with a backup
Available Monday through Saturday in United States business hours
Can also work on Sunday schedules
