Job Description
Our team is partnering with a well-established investment advisory firm to hire a Financial Operations Specialist . This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and eager to support both operational excellence and a high-touch client experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between clients, advisors, and custodians to support account servicing
- Coordinate client meetings, internal briefings, and team schedules
- Prepare and process new account paperwork, transfers, and money movement (wires, ACH, checks)
- Track and follow up on client service requests
- Support onboarding, reporting, and ongoing account maintenance
- Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain and update CRM and portfolio management systems
- Partner with compliance/operations to ensure regulatory adherence
- Assist with internal audits and regulatory documentation
- Contribute to special projects and process improvements
- Provide backup support to front office and administrative functions
Qualifications
- Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred (Finance, Business, or related field)
- 3+ years in financial services, wealth management, or investment operations
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and account structures
- Experience with CRM, portfolio management, or trading platforms
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with accuracy
- Professional, client?first mindset with strong analytical skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
