Our highly trained teams provide 24/7 industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, and specialized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also manage waste handling, transportation, and disposal in strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Position Overview

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking skilled and safety-conscious Class A Drivers with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to join our team. This position is approximately 50% driving and 50% manual labor, including moving hoses, off-loading at facilities, and performing onsite operations. Youll play a key role in transporting materials safely and supporting critical environmental projects.

Essential Functions

• Haul tankers with non-baffled tanks; connect and disconnect hoses as needed.
• Hook up cables to roll-off boxes and load/unload them onto roll-off trailers.
• Haul 53-foot van trailers and back them into tight loading docks at waste facilities.
• Perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Complete and sign waste manifests, submit to facilities, and collect copies for records.
• Respond to emergencies as needed, sometimes with little notice.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required
• Tanker Endorsement required
• Hazmat Endorsement required
• 40-hour OSHA Training required; can be provided by GEIR if not yet completed
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse is required
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Valid drivers license with a clean 3-year motor vehicle record.
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable performing manual labor outdoors in various conditions
• Willingness to work extended shifts or respond to emergencies as needed
• 24 years of hands-on experience with tools/heavy equipment preferred

Pay

• $23.50 - $29.00 / hr.
