Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Steward. Based in Alameda, CA, the role allows for some work from home. The Chief Steward will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage services on board, providing exceptional customer service, training staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Customer Service and Communication
• Experience in Food & Beverage management and Food Service
• Ability to train and oversee staff in hospitality standards
• Excellent organizational, communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and flexibly in a hybrid environment with customers and crew
• Prior experience in maritime settings is a plus
• Certification in food and beverage safety is desirable, training will be supplied
