We’re hiring a Chief of Staff at Nucleus.

*MUST be ready to build. No task is too small.

This is a rare opportunity to help build a category-defining search firm from the inside. You’ll work directly with the founder as a true right hand, managing priorities, running point on special projects, and helping scale the platform behind some of the most exciting funds in venture.

We’re one of only a handful of firms that regularly places VCs at the partner level, and the only one built exclusively for emerging and on-the-rise managers. If you're hungry to learn how great firms get built, this is the seat.

The role covers three core functions:

Admin

• Own the calendar and daily schedule
• Help triage inbound, protect time, and make space for what matters
• Keep internal comms tight and priorities moving

Strategy

• Lead special projects, platform builds, and internal firm experiments
• Help drive our LP network and podcast
• Act as a thought partner on everything from client pitches to productizing how we work

Ops

• Run point on systems, workflows, and process
• Support candidate and client pipelines across searches
• Keep the firm humming behind the scenes

You might be:

• An EA or biz ops associate ready for more ownership
• A CVC or junior VC looking for something faster and closer to the metal
• A former founder or startup generalist who thrives in ambiguity
• Or fresh out of school with range, drive, and good instincts

Based in SF or NYC. Hybrid by design, mostly remote with regular working sessions, meetings, and the occasional dinner or event.
