Become a Caregiver with Happier At Home in Birmingham, AL!

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Happier At Home is looking for compassionate, experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for seniors in the Birmingham area. Help seniors maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve!

This listing is specifically for our Hwy 280 and surrounding area cases. One does feature a heavy indoor smoker, so please only apply if you are ok and able to work with that . Cases will vary, but we need several caregivers for the 280 area.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Meal prep, shopping, and errands.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Providing companionship and socialization.
• Transportation to appointments(using your vehicle and reimbursed for mileage).
• Supporting exercise and mental stimulation.
• Respite care for family caregivers.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.  
• Must be able to transport yourself to all shifts.  
• CNA license is a plus, but NOT required.
• Must pass drug screening, background checks, and motor vehicle checks.
• Must be able to work a consistent schedule and clearly communicate in advance of any scheduling issues you may have. 
• Must be willing to travel to Highway 280 for cases.

Work Settings :

• Client's home.
