This role is onsite near Elk Grove, IL
No relocation assistance is provided - must currently live or already be in the process of moving to Illinois
Must be able to do light travel to NE states
CPG / Food Manufacturing industry is a MUST to be strongly considered
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house expert on core business systems.
- Document and streamline business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Quality.
- Manage system configurations, roles/permissions, dashboards, and reporting.
- Oversee enterprise data visualization tools.
- Translate business needs into functional system requirements.
- Support Finance with reporting, BOM costing, inventory reconciliations, and master data.
- Partner with Sales/Customer Service on CRM workflows and customer integrations
- Act as the primary contact for IT vendors and consultants.
- Lead small- to mid-sized system improvement and integration projects.
- Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and ERP tools.
- Establish documentation and standards for dashboards and data models.
- Analyze system data to identify inefficiencies and process improvements.
- Maintain data accuracy and completeness across platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data security, audit, and change control protocols.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or related role
- 3+ years in data modeling, Power BI development, or analytics
- ERP experience (NetSuite, Sage X3, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing or food/CPG business processes.
- Proven ability to manage external IT vendors or MSPs.
- CRM, EDI, or PLM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Power BI/dashboard expertise required
- Familiarity with batch production, BOMs, and quality control preferred
