Overview Adjunct, Psychology – Part Time, On-site at Monmouth University. The Department of Psychology seeks masterful teachers and enthusiastic undergraduate educators to join as part-time adjuncts. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus. This is a continuous postings environment to expand the pool of qualified adjunct faculty. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. Responsibilities Teach 3-6 credits per semester of courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Personality, Research Methods, Statistics, Neuroscience, Animal Behavior/Learning, or upper-level specialty courses (e.g., Stereotyping/Prejudice; Sports Psychology). Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions and assignments in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic success. Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner. Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and development. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, or equivalent progress in a related doctoral program. College/university teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree.
