Accounts Payable Supervisor Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually + bonus Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm - onsite
Overview: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our AP team and ensure accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor account management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Monitor and reconcile AP accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and review reports for management on AP metrics and performance
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Lead, train, and support AP staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of AP processes and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
