Account Manager - Landscaping (Maintenance)

Responsibilities:
- Ensure complete customer "delight" by focusing on quality, responsiveness, communication, proactiveness, and value for an assigned geographic location.
- Work well with others in a team environment and be helpful and courteous to customers.
- Communicate with customers on-site regularly to discuss priorities, scheduled maintenance, progress reports, and courtesy calls as needed.
- Attend Homeowner's Association Meetings as necessary (minimum of 2 meetings per year).
- Schedule job site walkthrough inspections with customers.
- Ensure crew members properly care for and safely operate power equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a company planner with customer addenda and expectations notes.
- Perform regular employee performance appraisals at least once a year for direct reports.
- Manage personnel actions including disciplinary measures, promotions, raises, and terminations.
- Approve and ensure timely and accurate submission of hours sheets, job billing sheets, and other field reports.
- Sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements for proprietary information.
- Assist in preparing estimates, collecting production data, sales presentations, negotiating, and contract renewals.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- As a salaried exempt employee, work after hours or on weekends as needed to meet goals.
- Arrive at the yard at least 20 minutes before dispatch and stay 30 minutes after the workday ends; be reachable by phone until 5:00 pm on weekdays.
